Shawnee State Forest
Located in Scioto and Adams counties in southeastern Ohio near the Ohio River, Shawnee State Forest park public land consist of 63,000 acres of forest covered hills and valleys. Whitetail deer and eastern wild turkeys can be found in the park.  Hunting in Shawnee State Forest can be a pleasant experience.  Shawnee State Forest is a picturesque state park sometimes referred to as “The Little Smokies”. It consists of hardwood forest and rugged terrain. Hunting and camping is allowed in designated areas.
